What age range are your craft kits suitable for?
Our craft kits are suitable for children aged 3 - 12+. Obviously not all kits are suitable for the younger children and they will need supervision.
Do the craft kits come with everything needed to make them?
In general YES! Occasionally you may need a pair of scissors but otherwise we like to think that we have included everything. Some kits such as the Science Museum kits do not include batteries but we include them in the parcel.
Do I need to supervise my child?
It depends on the age of your child. Most of the craft kits can be done with little supervision by an adult. However the frames come with glass which should be removed by an adult before the child paints and decorates the frame.
How long does each craft kit take to make?
Most craft kits can be completed within an hour to an hour and a half including drying time for the paint and glue.
Are batteries included where necessary?
Yes. All the clock kits which are made by us automatically have the batteries included and for other kits we send out the relevant number of batteries - we know how annoying it is to have great fun completing a craft kit and then find that there are no batteries to make it work.
We are holding a charity fair - how much notice to you need?
We like two to three weeks notice as the kits need extra preparation (painting etc), however, we can generally manage with just 5 days notice.
What is your returns policy for charity fairs?
You can return up to 25% of the order for a refund. However if for unforeseen circumstances the fair has had to be cancelled we will take the full order back.
What is your returns policy for presents?
You may return any present as long as it has not been opened and is in its original packaging for a full refund less the postage.
What is your returns policy for craft party activity packs?
You may return all or part of the craft activity pack for refund. We often suggest that you order a few extra just in case you suddenly get an extra child (or five).
Do you post worldwide?
Our postage and packing costs are for Britain. If you would like us to send goods to Europe and beyond please contact us for a shipping quote.
I notice you use paypal for payments- do I need a paypal account?
No. You can use most credit cards in the normal way through the paypal system and you do not need to open a paypal account. You can send us a cheque if you wish.
How accurate are the photographs?
We try to make them as close to the original as we can. Inevitably there are colour variations. The packs of decorative pieces are not all the same but if it is important that you get a particular colour or piece do get in touch with us.
